If you are planning a car's themed party there are lots of ideas out there. You can check out my Pinterest for all the ideas I have gathered from various resources, but below are some of my favorites.
My search started when I saw a local bakery's, Sweet D'z Express, Facebook post of this cake they made. Seriously cute, right?
If you have a long entrance into your home this would be great if not, it would be really cute along the walkway to your front door, plus that will help assist those in trying to find which house the party is at.
This is a very cute table set up, but can pose a problem depending on how young the attendee's are. To keep the same feel but to simplify it, I would keep the black table cloth with the white tape stripes, use either red or the combination of red, green, and yellow for plates, and of course, plastic cups instead of glass!
Now let's talk food!
Some like sweets, sweets, and more sweets. While others like healthy. I like to do a combination and let my guests decide but since my son has allergies, I always stay clear of bringing foods into my home that can harm him. I will put up a couple of each just to get some ideas rolling for your party.
I found these Marshmallow S'more Pops and thought these would be really cute as "Air Bags." Click here to be directed to the recipe. And for you licorice fans, I found Mater's Tow Cables.
For those who are trying to do things a little healthier, try Mater's Dip Sticks and Fruit Race Cars!
Now for the drink station. I found some really cute things out there but when I really thought about it, we need to be careful when it comes to our children. Depending on the age they may not understand pretend antifreeze or motor oil. So this is a fun alternative.
It's cute, fun, and sticks with the theme without the potential poisoning after the kids go home thinking that antifreeze and motor oil is ok to drink.
Play games
The obvious thing here is to have a race track. It could be big for the kids to go around or small enough that they race toy cars. You could have traffic cones with flags in them at one end of the yard (weather permitting) and have the kids run and grab them and race back to the starting point.
There could be a build your own car station, you could make a flat traffic light and toss bean bags on them, or even have an indoor or outdoor drive-in movie theatre.

Party Favors
Some people go all out for this big I have never understood why. Most of the time, it just ends up being a junk bag. Here is a couple of simple ideas for party favors.
A car's themed cup with crayons, stickers, and a car or maybe even each party goer their own trophy!
